Joseph Ali is a Vice President at Crestone Advisors and is responsible for sourcing and executing client engagements. Joseph brings a strong background in corporate finance and investment banking, coupled with direct operational experience in a variety of companies ranging from growth stage technology companies to national manufacturers.

Before joining Crestone Advisors, Joseph held positions at Mizuho Bank, Bank of Tokyo, and Citigroup Global Markets with coverage spanning numerous industries and market sectors. Prior coverage sectors include software, media & telecom, industrials, and leveraged finance. Joseph’s direct transactional experience accumulates in excess of $30 billion.

In addition to his career in investment banking, Joseph is the founder of Straight Outta Wall Street, a management consulting and financial training firm where Joseph has trained over 200 professionals in topics such as valuation, SaaS modeling, leveraged buyouts, financial structuring, debt sizing, and other complex financial frameworks. Joseph has also led numerous public financial modeling seminars on behalf of Wall Street Oasis. Joseph has founded three other companies and recently held the role of CFO at InStyler Brands in Los Angeles.

Joseph also serves as chairman of an advisory board to the Tobin School of Business at St. John’s University in New York and enjoys mentoring students.
